Monster Tree Service - Review in Landscaping and Gardening category from Warminster, Pennsylvania
With Company response
1 comment
Some, but not all of Josh Skolnick's employees are paid in cash because they are illegals. OSHA needs to investigate this company which does not enforce safety rules and regulations.
A long time (legal) employee was killed on the job because of Josh's pressure to get jobs done as quickly as possible; carelessly disregarding safety measures. He's money hungry and doesn't care about his employees or his customers.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

We, at Monster Tree Service, consider this to be the most deeply and personally hurtful thing that any of us have ever read or heard said about our company. We should have responded to these outrageous accusations long ago, but we were advised that it was better to just leave it alone.
This is no longer our policy regarding anonymous posts made with clearly evil intentions. We will respond to the 2 accusations made here in reverse order. It is true that we lost a dear friend on the job in 2012. That is without doubt the single worst thing our company has ever experienced.
We were shaken to our core. OSHA performed their standard โpost-deathโ inspection of the incident. Monster fully cooperated with all of OSHAโs requests. OSHAโs finding was that our organization complied with all the safety rules and regulations.
Although it was good to know that we were not at fault, this was no consolation for our deep loss. We have since become even more obsessed with safety than ever. We are dedicated to using the inescapable and haunting memory of this tragedy as constant motivation to do everything in our power to make sure our job sites are the safest in the industry. Regarding the hiring of โillegals,โ Monster Tree Service is a national organization.
We cannot afford to take the risks that a smaller, less publicly recognizable firm might take.
Hiring โillegalsโ is simply too risky for us. We always confirm the eligibility of each new employee to work in the United States prior to hiring.
